Arkansas State Athletic Department Continues to Offer ?Tickets for Kids? Program for 2008 Red Wolf Football

JONESBORO (8/15/08) ? Arkansas State's football home opener against Texas Southern is just three weeks from Saturday, but time still remains to sponsor a child at all five home games through the ASU “Tickets for Kids” program.

Tickets for Kids provides season football tickets for at-risk children in Craighead County, allowing them to experience the pageantry and excitement of college athletics.

A tax-deductible donation of $50 will allow a child to attend all five Red Wolf home football games during the 2008 season.

“Red Wolves fans have provided many opportunities in the past for at-risk children in the area to attend ASU games and experience the thrill of college football,” said Gleen Hart, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions.  “The Arkansas State athletic department is happy to continue offering the Tickets for Kids program for the upcoming season, giving our fans the opportunity to provide a lifetime of memories for these children.  Without the generosity of our dedicated fans, many of these children would never experience the excitement of college athletics.”

After opening the home portion of their schedule Sept. 6 against Texas Southern, the Red Wolves will host Southern Miss Sept. 13 and Middle Tennessee Sept. 20.  Following a Sept. 27 game at Memphis, the Red Wolves will return to Jonesboro Oct. 11 to take on Louisiana-Monroe before hosting Florida Atlantic in the Nov. 22 home finale.

To sponsor a child in the Tickets for Kids program or for more information, contact the ASU Red Wolf Club at 870-972-2401.
