JONESBORO, Ark. (2/3/11) - The Arkansas State women's tennis team will host its annual silent auction during Saturday's men's basketball matchup between the Red Wolves and Denver Pioneers at the ASU Convocation Center.
The auction will take place on the concourse level in the end zone behind the student section, located between the blue and green entrances. Fans will be able to bid on a variety of items including health club memberships, tennis lessons and racquets, gift certificates, ASU memorabilia and much more. All proceeds will benefit the Red Wolves tennis team. Items must be picked up and paid for Saturday night.
"We have a good assortment of products from local merchants, the ASU teams and the Convocation Center," said ASU head coach Marcia Williams. "The auction is a lot of fun, people come away with good deals and the ASU women's tennis team benefits. I hope everyone will come and bid on at least one thing to show their support for the Red Wolves."
The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and last until five minutes remain on the game clock. Tipoff between the Red Wolves and Pioneers is set for 7:05 p.m. The ASU women's basketball team will also take the floor at The Convo Saturday, facing DU at 3:05 p.m.
