LEADING OFF: Arkansas State will host Memphis in its final midweek contest of the season on Tuesday, April 30 at Tomlinson Stadium. The Red Wolves are coming off a series victory against Middle Tennessee and sit seventh in the SBC standings and are just five games out of first place. ASU battled not only the Blue Raiders, but the weather as well over the weekend. Friday night's game was suspended due to inclement weather and the team's were forced to play a doubleheader on Sunday to complete the three-game series. ASU used a nine run sixth inning in game one of the doubleheader to complete a five a run comeback to secure the series win. Collin Massanelli enjoyed a solid weekend at the plate, including going 5-for-6 in game one of the doubleheader and missed tying the school record for hits in a game by just one.

Memphis is coming off a weekend in which it lost two of the three games to East Carolina. The Tigers' last two midweek games were played at AutoZone Park where they beat Ole Miss but lost to Southern Mississippi.

In the previous meeting between the schools, ASU won in extra innings after Collin Massanelli drove in the tying run with two outs in the top of the 9th and Ryan Emery delivered the go ahead hit in the bottom half of the inning.

THE STARTERS: Seth McWilliams will get the start for ASU, while left-hander Michael Willis will get the call for Memphis.

with collecting a hit in the inning.

Dustin Jones scored on a wild pitch.
