ESPN3 - Why is the game blacked out?
Certain games are only available to cable subscribers in a limited region of the United States. WatchESPN and ESPN3 will simulcast these games, however depending on where you're located you may not be able to watch the game due to broadcast rights / broadcast agreements. The same goes for satellite television subscribers. You'll likely see the A-State game, but when you attempt to watch the channel the game will be unavailable or 'blacked out in your area.'
This blackout is completely out of the hands of both the Sun Belt Conference and Arkansas State Univeristy. A-State will make every attempt to provide live streaming audio of all road games subject to a blackout.
Other Ways To Follow A-State Games
- Links to watch and/or listen to road games can be found on our schedule page.
- LiveStats for A-State home games, as well as all Sun Belt Conference games can be viewed at AStateStats.com.
