JONESBORO, Ark. (7/13/22) – Arkansas State bowling head coach Justin Kostick announced Wednesday that New Braunfels, Texas product Maggie Thomas will join the roster for the 2022-23 season.

"I am looking forward to coaching Maggie and the two-handed bowling style that she uses," said Kostick. "What she does is unique and we are so excited she has chosen to be a part of our Red Wolf family."

A two-handed bowler, Thoma is a two-time Texas High School Singles State Champion, winning the crown in 20019 and 2022. She currently holds the Texas and National high school scoring record for a two-game set with a 579 (300 + 279). Thoma finished second in the 2022 Texas Pepsi Championship and had three top-10 finishes in the last two years in youth championship competition in various states. She placed 25th at Junior Gold in 2019 and was 76th at Junior Gold in 2021.
