BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (10/9/23) - Continuing its fall schedule, the Arkansas State women's golf team is 13th among 14 teams at the Dale McNamara Invitational hosted by Tulsa at the Golf Club of Oklahoma.
The Red Wolves totaled 22-over par 598 over the first two rounds, but rebounded from an opening round 19-over par 307 with a second round 3-over par 291, tied for the lowest round of the season. A-State is five strokes behind Southern Miss (+17) for 10th while Sam Houston and Nebraska are tied for fifth at 7-over par. Tulsa leads at 8-under par followed by South Florida (-5), Colorado State (-3) and UTSA (-2).
Morgan Beaulieu and Madison Tenore are tied for 27th at 3-over par 147 to lead A-State on day one. Beaulieu turned in a 4-over par 76 in the first round, but a season-best 1-under par 71 in the second. Tenore turned in the low round of the day for A-State at 2-under par 70 in the second round. Ashley Kim's second round even-par 72 gave the Red Wolves three par or better rounds on the day and Kim enters the third round tied for 48th at 6-over par 150. Charlotte Menager totaled 7-over par 151 (77-74) and is tied for 53rd, Olivia Coit totaled 8-over par 152 (78-74) to tie for 60th and Anne-Lea Lavoie totaled 10-over par 154 (76-78) to tie for 67th.
