JONESBORO, Ark. (1/9/24) – Another heavy home slate highlights the Arkansas State baseball team's 2024 schedule, which head coach Tommy Raffo announced Tuesday.
 
The Red Wolves open the 30-game home docket with eight of their first nine games at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field. First-time opponents Lindenwood and Marshall also dot the calendar in Raffo's 16^th season at the helm.
 
A-State opens the season at home for the second year in a row, hosting Omaha (Feb. 16-18) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Feb. 20) in a four-game home stand before its typical early-season contest at Ole Miss (Feb. 21). The Red Wolves then close out the month of February with a series against Lindenwood (Feb. 23-25) ahead of a midweek test versus Central Arkansas (Feb. 27).
 
The Scarlet and Black then hit the road for four straight, traveling to Missouri State (March 1-3) and Murray State (March 5) before returning home for a series with Eastern Illinois (March 8-10).
 
After midweek bouts at Little Rock (March 12) and at Memphis (March 13), A-State returns home to commence Sun Belt Conference play against Louisiana (March 15-17). After taking on the Cajuns, the Red Wolves welcome Southern Illinois (March 19) before a return trip to the Salukis (March 20).
 
A series at first-time opponent Marshall (March 22-24) follows before a trip to Arkansas-Pine Bluff (March 26), and then Georgia Southern comes to Jonesboro for a Easter Weekend Thursday-Saturday set (March 28-30).
 
The month of April begins with an in-state showdown at Arkansas (April 2), followed by a series at Troy (April 5-7). After returning home to host Little Rock (April 9), A-State travels to South Alabama (April 12-14).
 
A midweek test against Ole Miss (April 16) opens a four-game home stand that includes a series against Appalachian State (April 19-21), with a home series versus Texas State (April 26-28) coming after a quick trip to Central Arkansas (April 23).
 
A-State then travels to James Madison (May 3-5) to begin the month of May before returning home for its final four home games against Memphis (May 7) and Southern Miss (May 10-12). After hosting the Golden Eagles, the Red Wolves conclude the regular season at ULM (May 16-18).
 
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament will be held May 21-26 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., with the top 10 teams in the league standings earning a spot in the field.
