JONESBORO, Ark. (12/14/24) – Following the November announcement that Arkansas State Athletics achieved a school record-tying 85 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR) for the second straight year, 11 more student-athletes from the Red Wolves' NCAA intercollegiate sports programs earned their degrees as Arkansas State University held its 2024 Fall Commencement ceremony Saturday at First National Bank Arena.
A-State also placed 159 student-athletes on the 2023-24 Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List (3.5-4.0 GPA) and Academic Honor Roll (3.0-3.49), which was announced late last month as well. The last time A-State placed more student-athletes on the league's annual lists of academic honorees was 2020-21.
The most recent A-State graduates includes student-athletes from men's track & field, football, women's soccer and women's tennis. A-State's list of December 2024 graduates includes:
- Men's Track & Field – Will Glass (Strategic Communications)
- Football – Tobias Braun (General Studies), Aidan Ellison (Business Finance), Justin Hodges (General Studies), Malik Hornsby (General Studies), Nate Martey (General Studies), Justin Parks (Sport Administration), Trevian Thomas (General Studies)
- Women's Soccer – Mckenzie Robinson (Strategic Communications), Aliyah Williamson (Psychology)
- Women's Tennis – Abigail Thurmer (Sports Management)
The Arkansas State Athletics Director's Honor Roll members for the 2024 fall semester will be announced at a later date, and those members will be recognized at one of the Red Wolves' basketball games during the spring semester.
