JONESBORO, Ark. (2/15/24) – The Arkansas State women's tennis team continues non-conference action Friday as the Red Wolves host Arkansas Tech at the RidgePointe Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

"Having some time to work on fundamentals and execution in doubles play has been very helpful," A-State head coach Sujay Lama said. "This match gives us the opportunity to practice those skills. I get the feeling that we are close to taking that next step as a team in our development."

A-State (3-3) returns to action for the first time since a split weekend against Lindenwood and Butler. The Red Wolves swept Lindenwood 7-0, but dropped a 4-2 decision to Butler in the most recent outing back on February 4.

Arkansas Tech enters the match at 0-1 on the season, taking a hard-fought 5-2 loss against Central Arkansas. This is the second consecutive season the Red Wolves face Arkansas Tech following a 5-2 win last season in a match played in North Little Rock, Ark.
