CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (3/1/24) - The Arkansas State women's tennis team hits the road to meet Bradley and Southeast Missouri this weekend. Both matches are scheduled to be played outdoors at the John C. Bierk Redhawks Tennis Complex. 

A-State (4-4) is coming off a 6-1 setback against Jacksonville State Saturday. The Red Wolves had match point on court three in doubles up 5-3, but lost the decisive match 7-5. 

"We are playing good tennis and competing very well," said A-State tennis head coach Sujay Lama. "Our focus is on finishing and not let leads slip, which has held us back just a bit. We can't wait to play these two matches and fine tune for the conference season."

Southeast Missouri enters the weekend at 3-6 on the season while Bradley carries a 4-6 mark. Southeast Missouri and Bradley meet on Friday ahead of the Red Wolves playing Bradley at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. A-State plays Southeast Missouri on Sunday with first serve at noon.
