Red Wolves Hold Pack Day Spring Game, Announce Spring Camp Team Awards
JONESBORO, Ark. (4/20/24) – The Arkansas State football team held its annual Pack Day Spring Game on Saturday, wrapping up its 2024 spring camp with the offense claiming a 108-73 victory over the defense using a modified scoring system.
The Red Wolves announced their spring-camp awards during halftime of the contest, which featured a full-contact scrimmage made up of 92 plays.
Consistency in Performance Award:
Pack Performer Award: Player who performed best in the weight room
Most Improved Award: Player who has improved the most during Spring Camp
4 to 6/A to B Award: Player who best demonstrates the core values of playing 4 to 6/A to B
Program Leadership Award: Player who best demonstrates the program's core leadership qualities

Champions in the Community: Player who led the team in community service hours
First Spring Award: Player who excelled in their first spring camp at A-State
In addition to the spring-camp team awards, there was a special presentation honoring A-State's 2023 Larry Lacewell MVP winner
Jacob Bayer. The honor is issued annually to the team's MVP, recognizing excellence on the field and in the classroom, leadership, integrity and commitment to teammates.
Makilan Thomas was also recognized as the winner of the 2023 Withrow Award, presented annually to the program's outstanding offensive lineman of the year.
