JONESBORO, Ark. (1/29/25) – Arkansas State track and field is set to compete in a pair of meets this weekend, beginning Thursday.
A-State will compete in the Stan Scott Invitational and Multi Thursday-Saturday in Lubbock, Texas, while also sending athletes to the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational held in Louisville, Ky.
The Stan Scott Multi begins at noon Thursday with the first four events of the heptathlon, with the pentathlon beginning at 12:20 p.m. ESPN+ is streaming Friday and Saturday's events of the Stan Scott Invitational. Links to both live streaming and live results can be found here.
THREE THINGS TO NOTE:
1. #EVENTSQUAD: Arkansas State has three event groups ranked among the top 15 nationally in this season's first installment of the USTFCCCA #EventSquad Rankings, which ranks the top event groups based upon its best four performers. A-State is 10th in the men's 60-meter hurdles and men's pole vault, while the men's shot put group is 13th.

3. TOP-10 MARKS OF THE WEEK: Arkansas State had an athlete among the USTFCCCA's Top 10 Marks of the Week for the second week in a row, as Bradley Jelmert's clearance of 5.43m (17-9.75) tied for seventh in the men's pole vault among all collegians.
