ORLANDO (10/24/25) – The sixth-ranked Arkansas State women's bowling team continued play Saturday at Destination Orlando and enters the final day 12th among 24 teams.
A-State (16-7) was 2-3 in head-to-head traditional matches Saturday and is 5-5 through 10 matches played. The Red Wolves totaled 4,356 pins in traditional matches and has 9,288 pins, 82 short of Youngstown State for 10th. Jacksonville State maintains the lead with 10,451 pins (209.0) with Louisiana Tech (10,023), Wichita State (10,004), Vanderbilt (9,876), North Carolina A&T (9,515), Tulane (9,489), Sacred Heart (9,446) and UAB (9,433) completing the top nine.
Karli VanDuinen led the Red Wolves with 954 pins over the five games, an average of 190.80, to rank 33rd individually.
Kaylee Back had the high game of the day for A-State with a 235. Nine different bowlers rolled at least one game Saturday for the Red Wolves.
A-State faces Vanderbilt in a traditional match Sunday morning and two bracket matches follow to complete play in the event.
