NEW CASTLE, Del. (1/17/26) – The third-ranked Arkansas State women's bowling team is fifth among 36 teams entering the final day of the Northeast Classic.
A-State (44-18) rolled 5,096 pins in traditional games sporting a 5-0 head-to-head record to move to 7-3 for the tournament. The Red Wolves have totaled 10,119 (202.4) pins, eight more than Louisiana Tech for fifth. Jacksonville State paces the field with 10,773 (215.5) with Vanderbilt (10,719), Maryville (10,250) and Wichita State (10,227) completing the top four.
The Red Wolves opened the day edging No. 8 Niagara 1,096-1,011. After an 876-776 margin against Howard, A-State followed with a 962-828 tally against No. 24 Delaware State. The Red Wolves moved to 4-0 on the day with a 1,138-923 total against No. 9 Mount St. Mary's and closed out the day with a 1,024-931 advantage against Molloy.
Karli VanDuinen led A-State with 1,098 (219.6) pins to rank eighth individually.
Maggie Thoma downed 1,062 (212.4) to rank 20h and
Kaylee Back ranked 27th with 1,037 (207.4). Kaitlyn Ruszczak totaled 618 (206.0) pins over three games,
Alex-Anne Auclair had 581 (193.7) in three games,
Amanda Lang had 356 (178.0) in two games and
Aubrey Kiddle had 344 (172.0) in a pair of games.
