HIGH SCHOOL: Carling attended Vale of Glamorgan High School and is well decorated with golfing achievements . . . She was a regular performer on the British women's amateur scene. Among her many accolades, Carling was captain of the Wales Girls Team against England, selected for the Welsh Schools' Team and participated in the Pleasington Putter and Bridget Jackson Bowl in 2008 . . . She was the Glamorganshire Ladies Club champion, Eisteddfod Welsh National ladies medalist, Welsh Schools Country Golf winner, Welsh Closed champion, County Championship semi-finalist and the Murcia Open runner-up . . . Represented Wales at the European Junior Team Championships in 2007, while she also represented her home country in the Girls' Home Internationals . . . Welsh Girls' Championship runner-up and Glamorganshire Golf Club ladies champion in 2007 as well . . . Part of teams that won the Welsh Championships and Vale of Glamorgan Junior Captain League . . .
