Biography

2011 - 2012: Played in eight tournaments, picking up his best finish (tied for 1st) at the USF Invitational.    Pledger led the team in all categories, while posting the the best average and best finish for the squad.  Pledger posted his best three-round scores at the tournaments, shooting a 211 in both the USF Invitational and the Seminole Intercollegiate, and also recorded his lowest score of the season with a 65... Placed in the top-15 in 4 tournaments this season, with 2 of those being in the top 5.

2010 - 2011: Played in twelve tournaments, picking up his best finish (tied for 4th place), and also recorded a season low score of 209 at the USF Invitational.  Pledger also recorded a season low round of 68 two times, and placed in the top-10 in 2 other tournaments (Sam Hall Intercollegiate & Mason Rudolph Championsip).

2009-10:  Posted a score of 68, his lowest, in the first round of the season . . . Finished tied for 26th in the Memphis Intercollegiate, where he shot 226 through three rounds . . . Appeared in 10 tournaments, competing in 29 rounds . . . Ranked 45th in the Sun Belt Conference, one of five returning Red Wolves in the top 50.

2008-09: Averaged 75.94 strokes per round with a low round of 72. . . Best finish of 15th place at Red Wolf Classis. . . Played in 6 tournaments.

High School: 2007 Arkansas State Golf Association junior stroke champion . . .  Pledger, a 6-1, 260-pounder from Sheridan, signed a National Letter of Intent in the early signing period . . . In addition to winning the stroke play title, he won the 2006 ASGA junior match play championship . . . Pledger played golf for Sheridan High School since 2003 where he was a three-time All-Conference selection . . . As a sophomore, junior and senior he was named All-State and was the conference tournament medalist twice . . . Pledger received medalist honors 27 times in his high school career.
