Biography
Martha McFerron is in her 33rd year as the Cheerleading Coordinator at Arkansas State University.
McFerron is a former A-State cheerleader, member of Chi Omega sorority, and graduated from ASU in 1971 with her Bachelor of Science in journalism. She is a member of the Red Wolves Foundation and is a 1924 Sustaining Life Member of the ASU Alumni Association. In addition to all her ties to Arkansas State, she is a Jonesboro Junior Auxiliary Life Member.
McFerron is married to Steve McFerron of Jonesboro and they have one son named Matt. Steve is also a graduate of Arkansas State and was recognized as a distinguished alumnus by the ASU Alumni Association in 2008.
