After spending the past two seasons as a student assistant with the Arkansas State baseball program, Mike Sirianni joins the staff this season as a volunteer assistant coach.
A native of Indianola, Iowa, Sirianni spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons roaming the infield, playing shortstop and third base for the Indians. Sirianni started all 111 games that he played in at ASU after transferring in from Creighton. He posted a .286 batting average, tallying 124 hits, scoring 96 runs, and driving in 77 during his two-year career at ASU.
As a volunteer assistant, Sirianni’s duties will include working with the hitters and infielders, as well as coaching first base.
