Biography

2015: Played in nine games, including two as a starter against Missouri State and Georgia State . . . Part of Arkansas State’s line that helped the squad break the Sun Belt record for scoring (40.0 ppg), while also ranking second in the league in total offense (438.5 ypg) and third in rushing (231.3 ypg) . . . Helped pave the way for 35 rushing touchdowns (second most in the conference) and provided pass protection for 23 touchdowns scored through the air . . . Behind Berg and the offensive line, A-State rushed for at least 200 yards in nine games and recorded over 500 yards total offense in six outings . . . The Red Wolves’ offensive line helped lead the team to a top-50 national ranking in scoring offense (No. 12), rushing offense (No. 15), total offense (No. 37) and passing yards per completion (No. 42).

NEO A&M: Midyear junior college transfer who had two years of eligibility remaining when he signed with the Red Wolves and was eligible to participate in spring camp . . . Two-year starter at center for NEO A&M College, earning honorable mention All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honors as a freshman in 2013 before receiving 1st-team accolades in 2014.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year varsity starter at Tulsa (Okla.) Union High School, where he also played rugby.
