CINCINNATI:  Spent the last three years (2015-17) at Cincinnati, redshirting his true freshman season in 2015 . . . Saw action in four games in 2017, making a pair of starts . . . Took the battle for the starting QB job with Hayden Moore deep into training camp and emerged as the No. 2 QB . . . Made his collegiate debut on a handful of plays late in the Houston game and tallied his first career rush and completion . . . Earned his first career start against Miami (Ohio) in place of an injured Hayden Moore, helping lead UC to its 11th-straight win over their longtime rivals . . .
