Named region’s defensive MVP in 2008 . . . Recorded a combined 156 tackles his final two seasons at Class 5A Madison County High School . . . Recorded 80 tackles and 10 sacks as a senior . . . Posted 76 tackles, 12 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, including one returned for a touchdown, as a junior in 2007 . . . Tallied 72 tackles senior campaign . . . Team Captain . . . 4.8-second time in the 40-yard dash, 360-pound bench press and 500-pound squat . . . Competed in track and field in addition to football.
