Three-year varsity letterman . . . Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s 2016 Class 7A Newcomer of the Year . . . Earned all-state recognition as a junior in 2017 and tabbed all-conference as a senior . . . Ended his career with 433 completions in 667 attempts with 66 touchdowns and nine rushing scores . . . Senior season only played 19 quarters due to injury, recording 79 completions for 1,394 yards and 13 touchdowns with only one interception . . . Junior season completed 208 passes for 3,524 yards and 33 touchdowns with only three interceptions while adding five rushing touchdowns . . . As a sophomore, connected on 146 attempts for 2,085 yards and 20 touchdowns . . . Also recorded four rushing touchdowns with a long run of 75 yards . . . Twice named basketball all-conference.
