Biography

2014-15:  Competed in all 34 rounds as a junior, helping lead A-State to three top-five finishes and a runner-up showing at the Bronc Intercollegiate . . . Averaged 74.79 strokes per round, which tied Tanner Napier for the best on the squad . . . Collected five top-25 finishes, including a season-best sixth place at the A-State Fall Beach Classic . . . Also finished tied for seventh at the FAU Slomin Autism Championship and ninth at the Bronc Intercollegiate, giving him three top-10 outings on the season . . . Recorded a low round of 69 at the Bash at the Beach tournament.

 

2013-14: Played in 29 rounds and finished with a stroke average of 76.7 for the season...Shot a season best of 226 in both the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate and the Memphis Intercollegiate . . . Tied for 26th at the Memphis Intercollegiate . . . Shot a low of 71 at the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate, Memphis Intercolliegate, and ASU Red Wolves Intercollegiate . . . Finished tied for 40th in the Sun Belt Conference Championships . . . . Ranked fourth on the ASU Men’s Golf Team…Ranked tied for 55th overall in the Sun Belt Conference.

 

2012-13: Played in 24 rounds and finished with a stroke average of 75.9 for the season...Finished in the Top 25 in two tournaments . . . Shot a season best of 215 and placed 13th at the Jack Rabbit Invitational . . . Shot a low of 70 at the ASU Red Wolves Intercollegiate . . . Finished tied for 31st in the Sun Belt Conference Championships . . . Ranked fourth on the ASU Men’s Golf Team . . . Ranked tied for 31st overall in the Sun Belt Conference.

 

High School: Garner was a 4-year varsity letterman at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas . . . Helped lead Lakeside to the Arkansas Class 5A state championship three consecutive years . . . Was an all-state selection as a sophomore, junior, and senior . . . Was a two-time conference medalist and earned all-conference recognition four times . . . Finished third at the Future Tour Champs Tournament in Mississippi with a final-round 67.
