Biography

2012-2013: Played in 24 rounds at 8 tournaments, shooting a low of 70 at the Cobra-PUMA Invitational where he finished 24th and had a season high finish of T10...he held an average score of 75.8.

2011 - 2012: Played in six tournaments, picking up his best finish of the season (tied for 47th place) at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate...Zwiegers posted his best three-round score of the season at the tournaments, shooting a 220, and also recorded his lowest round round of the year at 72...

2010 - 2011: Appeared in four tournametns during his sophomore year, with a total of 12 rounds...Finished with a season-best tie for 44th at the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate, where he also recorded a season-round low of 71.

2009-10:  Appeared in six tournaments during freshman year, with a total of 18 rounds . . . Finished a season-best tied for 14th at the Jackrabbit Invitational . . . Shot a low round of 68 at the USF Invitational, where he also finished tied for 23rd overall... Ranked 33rd overall in the Sun Belt Conference and third on the team in average strokes per round (75.39) . . . Named to the ASU Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

High School: As a senior at Parel Vallei High School, Zweigers was selected as the captain of his team and Golfer of the Year for the  three years. . . Since 2004, he has won the Strand Golf Club Junior Open twice, Western Province and Boland Mini-Masters, Provincial Schools Championship, Boland Schools Championship, Milnerton Junior Open and Western Cape Schools Championship. . . . During his senior season, Zwiegers won the Strand Club Championship, was selected to the Stand Golf Clubs Premier League team, was selected into the University of Stellenbosch's first team golf side and played on the Strand Golf Club's Winter League team, averaging 71.3 . . . Zwiegers also competed in swimming, rugby and track at PVHS. He was named Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year and was awarded an academic merit award in 2006.
