Alex Rachmaciej

The 2023-24 season will be Alex Rachmaciej’s first season with the Arkansas State track and field coaching staff. His coaching duties include overseeing the long and triple jump. Rachmaciej holds a degree in sports biology as well as USTFCCCA certifications in the Sprints, Hurdles & Relays and Jumps Specialist.
 
Prior to coming to A-State, Rachmaciej spent one season at Suffolk University in Boston, Mass., where he was responsible for the development and training of the sprints, hurdles, relays & pole vault. While at Suffolk, Rachmaciej saw great success helping the Rams to an indoor conference title and rewriting the record book with 10 Conference Champions, 38 All-Conference Selections, eight Division-III New England Regional Qualifiers, 15 School Records, a D-III All-Region Selection, and four D-III All-New England Selections.
 
Before heading to Suffolk, Rachmaciej made a stop at Mount Holyoke College, where he was responsible for the jumps, sprints and relay events. He also served as the meals and transportation coordinator for all 13 varsity sports at MHC. In his time at MHC, Rachmaciej was able to assist and coach his athletes to four All-Conference Selections, three All-Region Selections, and one national qualifier.
 
Prior to MHC, Rachmaciej spent two years at Springfield College – one as a volunteer and one as a graduate assistant coach. There, Rachmaciej assisted with coaching the long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault while also coordinating team study hall. The athletes he assisted in coaching amassed 11 All-Conference Selections, three conference championships, four national qualifiers, and three All-Americans.
