Julie Gauguery recently completed her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Arkansas State women's tennis team.

In her first year on the coaching staff, Gauguery helped the Red Wolves to a six win season that included a victory over a Sun Belt Conference opponent for the first time since the 2014 season. Gauguery also worked both the singles’ and doubles’ pairs and played a key role in the development of Sabina Jeresic, who enjoyed the best season of her career with eight wins in singles’ play.

Gauguery also helped the doubles’ pair of Shelby King and Shannon O’Brien to a winning season with an 11-7 overall record, marking the first time in five years and A-State doubles’ team had posted an overall record of .500 or better.

Gauguery was a four-year letterwinner at A-State where spent two seasons as the team's primary No. 1 player and earned an All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team honor during her senior season. During her final season at A-State she went 11-2 and won six out of her seven matches to start the season. She enjoyed two seperate five match winning streaks on the year.

She concluded her career with 34-25 overall in singles' competition.
