Logan Mittie completed her first season as the Director of Basketball Operations in 2015-16.

The Red Wolves completed the regular season with a program-best 27-6 overall record, including a 19-1 mark in Sun Belt Conference play, and advanced to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) for the 11th time in school history. A-State completed the year by setting school records in victories (27), win streak (18) and consecutive home victories (25).

A-State also captured the regular season Sun Belt Conference championship for the second time in the last three seasons and held and RPI in the 30s and 40s for most of the season. Arkansas State also received several votes in the Associated Press and Coaches’ Polls throughout the season.

Mittie helped coach Aundrea Gamble to her third straight Sun Belt Conference Student-Athlete of the Year award and helped the standout guard earn CollegeSportsMadness.com Mid-Major Third-Team All-American status. Mittie was also instrumental in helping Khadija Brown-Haywood earn First-Team All-Conference status for the first time in her career and leading Brittney Gill to a Third-Team All-Conference award.

Mittie’s primary responsibility is to serve as the team's travel coordinator. In addition, she handles all facility scheduling and arranged community service and promotion engagements for the staff and team, assists in the team’s social media efforts and coordinates the team’s meals when on the road.

Mittie, the daughter of former A-State and current Kansas State women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie, graduated from Texas Christian University in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Broadcasting.

She was a member of the TCU women’s basketball team for the 2011-12 season before moving into a student coach role for the 2012-13 campaign. Mittie also served as an operation supervisor for the TCU campus, one of the highest leadership positions a student can hold at the university.

In the fall of 2013 she began working as a talent intern for TCU Athletics where she provided color commentary for volleyball and women’s basketball games. She also worked for the Big 12 Conference as an analyst for the 2015 women’s basketball championship and served as an intern at CBS Channel 11 in Arlington in the summer of 2014.
