• This is the 44th season of women's basketball at Arkansas State.
• Brian Boyer is in his 19th season as head coach at A-State.
• Senior Lauren Bradshaw is 9 blocks away from becoming the Red Wolves' all-time leader in the category.
• For the second straight season the Red Wolves have at least four true freshmen on their roster.
• Tayton Hopkins and Akasha Westbrook each return the playing rotation after each missed much of the 2016-17 season with injuries.
• The four true freshmen combined to win eight state titles in the state of Arkansas across two different sports (basketball and volleyball).
• Arkansas State was the Sun Belt's best 3-point shooting team in 2016-17. The squad knocked down 33.9 percent of its shots from beyond the arch.
