Missouri (1-0) jumped to a 37-0 lead after Smith connected with Brad Ekwerekwu for a 7-yard scoring play that capped an 11 play drive that consumed 68-yards. ASU kicker
Eric Neihouse booted a field goal at the 3:37 mark of the third quarter to put the Indians on the board, but the game was well on the way to the final outcome by then.

Nick Noce tossed for 188-yards and a score to lead the ASU offensive attack to 323 yards of total offense.
For the Tigers, however, the new spread offense installed after last season racked up 657-yards on the day, including a whopping 317-yards on the ground.
