JONESBORO, Ark. (5/27/26) – With the 2026 Arkansas State football season a little more than
100 days away, television designations were released Thursday for four
of the Red Wolves' 12 regular-season contests while game times were announced for all six home games.
The Red Wolves begin their sixth season under head coach Butch Jones by
renewing the most-played series in program history at Memphis on Saturday, Sept. 6,
at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium in Memphis. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. with the broadcast on ESPN+. The home opener is Saturday, Sept. 12, against West Georgia with kickoff set for 6:00 p.m. at Centennial Bank Stadium.
A-State travels to TCU on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a nationally-
televised matchup on ESPNU, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Fort Worth, Texas. The Red Wolves conclude their non-conference slate the following week, hosting Conference USA champion Kennesaw State on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Centennial Bank Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
The Red Wolves host South Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 8, in a nationally-televised matchup on ESPN or ESPN2. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. A-State returns to Jonesboro
for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 24, welcoming Georgia State to Centennial Bank Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The Red Wolves then host ULM on Saturday, Nov. 7, for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff before closing out the regular season at home against Troy on Saturday, Nov. 28. Kickoff for the finale is also slated for 2:00 p.m.
While game times were not announced for conference matchups at Louisiana, Southern Miss, Coastal Carolina or Louisiana Tech, the league office did announce that A-State and Louisiana Tech will play in Ruston, La., on Saturday, Nov. 21.
As previously announced by the league office, the Sun Belt Football Championship game is Friday, Dec. 4, and will air on ESPN at 6:00 p.m. (CT). The game will feature the champions of the conference's East and West Divisions and will be played at the site of the division winner with the best overall conference record.
The Red Wolves are coming off back-to-back bowl wins, defeating Bowling Green in the 2024 68 Ventures Bowl and Missouri State in the 2025 Xbox Bowl.
