JONESBORO, Ark. (5/30/12) — Registration remains open
for those wishing to play in the 13th annual Arkansas State
University Sports Medicine 4-Person Golf Scramble scheduled for Friday, June 22
at Sage Meadows Country Club.
The entry fee is $340 per 4-person team and each team member
will receive lunch and golf. Individual
entries are also welcome, with the individual entry fee at $85.
All proceeds from the tournament are used to purchase
therapeutic and rehabilitation equipment for the ASU Sports Medicine
Center. This equipment is used by ASU's staff of licensed athletic
trainers to aid in prevention and treatment of injuries sustained by Red Wolves
student-athletes. The equipment also enhances the clinical experience of
students enrolled in the nationally accredited Athletic Training Education
Program.
Opportunities also are available for major, corporate, tee
or green sponsorship and will include signage at the tournament. Major and corporate sponsorships also include
the entry fee for a four-person team in the tournament.
The day's schedule is set to begin with a noon lunch,
followed by a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
An awards presentation will be held immediately following the
tournament, with prizes going to the first, second and third place teams. Specialty prizes will also be awarded for
various holes throughout the course.
