JONESBORO, Ark. (8/9/11) – The Arkansas State Letterman's Club will induct three new members into the ASU Hall of Honor when the club holds its annual Letterman's Banquet Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Cooper Alumni Center on the ASU campus.

Former A-State basketball guard Chico Fletcher, football fullback Rickey Jemison and former volleyball and tennis standout Beth Anderson Nuneviller have been selected as the 2012 inductees. There will also be a special recognition of the 2005 ASU women's basketball team that advanced to the quarterfinals of the Women's National Invitation Tournament, which included a victory over in-state opponent Arkansas in the second round. Dr. F.M. Wilson will also be recognized as an Honorary Letterman after serving as the athletic team physician from 1965-80 and for his continued work with the ASU athletic and academic programs.

The Letterman Club looks forward to an exciting evening, honoring the achievements of these former ASU greats. We also encourage the attendance of all former letter winners and Red Wolf fans as a show of support for these three individuals as well as the ASU Letterman Club”

Fletcher enjoyed one of the most successful careers in ASU men's basketball history and guided the team to its only NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999. Fletcher was a two-time Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, earning the honor in both his sophomore and junior seasons. He ended his career as the school's record holder in assists (893), steals (211) and minutes played (3,973). He also owns the top-three season marks for assists (250, 240, 232) and most assists in a game (17).

During his junior season Fletcher led the school to a Sun Belt Conference Tournament championship and the NCAA Tournament. Fletcher finished the season with 250 assists, averaged 17.0 points per game and led the conference with 66 steals.

Jemison played every game at fullback during his four years at Arkansas State, including a string of 24 consecutive starts. Playing from 1983-1986, Jemison became one of the school's most prolific rushers. He was a member of the 1986 squad that marched to the NCAA Division I-AA national championship game and finished as the runnerup. A-State made playoffs appearances in three of Jemison's four years on the team and achieved the No. 2 ranking in the polls at the conclusion of the 1986 season.

Jemison earned AP Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 1985 and 1986 seasons and was selected to the All-Southland Conference team in three straight seasons. His 13 career 100-yard rushing games rank fourth most all time and his string of five straight 100-yard games in the 1986 season is tied for the sixth longest streak in school history. He finished his career with 19 career rushing touchdowns and ran for 2,956 yards. He was selected a member of the ASU 1980s All-Decade team and signed a free agent contract with the Washington Redskins following his final season at Arkansas State.

Anderson's impact on the ASU volleyball team was almost immediate. During her first season in 1988 she helped lead the team to a 41-1 overall record and a 10-0 record in the American South Conference. In 1989 the team finished with a 43-6 record, a perfect mark in the ASC and earned a berth in the Women's Invitational Volleyball Championships for the first team in school history.

Anderson never lost an American South Conference match during her two-year career and was named the American South Conference Player of the year in 1989, In the 1989 season she finished with 566 kills, the fourth most all-time at ASU. In 1988 she finished with 509 kills, which is ninth most all-time and 187 blocks that are the ninth most in a single season. She finished with a .294 hitting percentage, which also ranks as the ninth best for a career. Anderson was also a member of the ASU tennis team in the 1989 and 1990 seasons.
