STATESBORO, Ga. (5/24/17) – The Arkansas State baseball team will open play at the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Wednesday at 11 a.m. (CT) against Georgia State at J.I. Clements Stadium in Statesboro, Ga., after the league office announced a number of changes and details concerning the event Wednesday morning.

The SBC has secured another facility to host games in Mill Creek Regional Park. The two single-elimination games will be played at 11 a.m. (CT) with No. 7 A-State set to play No. 10 Georgia State at J.I. Clements Stadium, while No. 8 Texas State and No. 9 Little Rock will play the other single-elimination contest at Mill Creek Regional Park at the same time.

There will be another round of games at 2:30 p.m. (CT) before the day concludes with two more games at 6 p.m. (CT). If the Red Wolves win against the Panthers to begin the day, the team would then play No. 2 UT Arlington at 6 p.m. with the venue still to be determined.

Games at J.I. Clements Stadium will be broadcast on ESPN3, while games at Mill Creek Regional Park will not be broadcast on ESPN3.
