JONESBORO, Ark. (3/28/21) – The Arkansas State women's tennis team fell 7-0 to ULM on Sunday afternoon at the A-State Tennis Complex.

A-State falls to 4-5 on the season and 2-3 in league play while the Warhawks move to 8-4 overall and 2-3 in Sun Belt Conference action.

ULM won the doubles point with wins on No. 1 and No. 2 courts.
Thea Rice and
Hunter Roper were dealt a 6-1 defeat to Hala Badwy and Oleksandra Balaba. Drousile Dzebou and Madlina Grigoriu clinched the doubles point for the Warhawks with a 6-4 defeat of
Jill Morse and
Shelby King.
Yasmine Humbert and
Nejla Zukic were leading their doubles match 5-4 when the point was clinched.

Giovanna Pereira defeated
Yasmine Humbert 6-1, 6-0 to give the Warhawks a 2-0 lead in the match and Daniela Hernandez knocked off
Amelia Guevremont 6-1, 6-1 to make it 3-0.
Shelby King took a 6-4, 6-4 setback to Oleksandra Balaba to clinch the match for the Warhawks. Drousile Dzebou defeated
Thea Rice 6-2, 7-6, Hala Badwy defeat
Hunter Roper 6-4, 6-1 and Jimena Garbino defeated
Nejla Zukic 5-7, 6-4, 6-0 to set the final of 7-0.
