Football
The press box at Centennial Bank Stadium is a multi-level facility located on the west side of the stadium complex. The press box houses a photo deck, television booths, radio booths, sportswriters and statisticians. The press box is equipped with phone lines, high-speed internet connections and wireless internet service. Admittance to these levels is by special credentials issued only by the A-State Athletics Media Relations Department.
Credentials are required to shoot from photo areas on the field and are issued by the A-State Athletics Media Relations Department. Certified photographers of newspapers, magazines, wire services, and TV stations must request passes via the credential request form. Credentials must be visible at all times and a photo vest picked up and returned to the pressbox for each contest.
Photographers are not permitted to shoot between the 25-yard lines. No one is permitted in the bench area, on the playing field or int the 12-foot area between the limit line and the sideline any time after competition begins, including timeouts. Photographers working on the field level may not obstruct the view of a ticket purchaser. No media personnel or their equipment shall be in the team area or coaching box, and no media personnel shall communicate in any way with persons in the team area or coaching box.
All media members will have access to select players and the head coach in the auditorium of the Centennial Bank Athletics Operations Center. The A-State locker room is CLOSED to all media both at Centennial Bank Stadium and on the road. The equipment room and athletic training room are off limits to the media. The road team will conduct any postgame interviews outside the visiting locker room in the south endzone.
Basketball and Volleyball
Media facilities inside First National Bank Arena consist of an area at floor level on the east side of the court for radio and television broadcasters and a designated area for credentialed media on the concourse level in the northwest corner of the arena (Blue portal). Visiting radio has a designated area in the northwest corner on the concourse level (Yellow portal). A television booth is located high on the east side of the arena. There is also a media room located floor level on the south end of the arena open to credentialed media before, during and after games. Admittance to these areas is by credential only and obtained via the form at the top of this page.
Photographers are not allowed to shoot from in front of the team benches nor from the catwalk above the floor (for security, insurance, and safety reasons). For basketball, along the baselines photographers must stay behind the broken line and clear from the free throw lane. A media credential and photo vest is required to shoot from courtside. A media credential and photo vest is required to shoot from courtside at both basketball and volleyball events.
Baseball
Space for radio and press are available in the pressbox at Tomlinson Stadium-Slayton Family Field. Photographers are required to shoot outside the field of play. Photographers are allowed to shoot from areas behind home plate and along the baselines as long as they are not blocking the view of a ticket purchaser.
