NEW ORLEANS, La. (2/14/23) – The Arkansas State women's golf team wrapped up play in its spring schedule opener Tuesday and finished 13th of 18 teams at the Tulane Classic.

A-State turned in a final round 27-over par 315 and totaled 78-over 942 for the 54-hole event at English Turn Golf and Country Club. Purdue won the event at 33-over par 897 with Incarnate Word and Tulane tied for second at 37-over par 901.

Individually, Olivia Schmidt finished tied for 17th good for her 30th career top-25 finish. Schmidt turned in a final round 8-over par 80 to total 229 (+13). Olivia Coit concluded the event in a tie for 57th with a total of 238 (+22) while Elise Schultz tied for 69th with a total 241 (+25). Morgan Beaulieu had the low round of the day for A-State with a 4-over par 76 and joined Schultz in a tie for 69th. Casey Sommer tied for 81st with a total of 246 (+30).
