HUMACAO, Puerto Rico (3/5/26) – The Arkansas State women's golf team finished third among eight teams in the Puerto Rico Iguana Invitational that concluded Thursday at Palmas Del Mar Country Club Flamboyan.
The Red Wolves turned in a 2-over par 290 in the final round, their second consecutive round of 290 or better. A-State totaled 20-over par 884 place third, seven strokes back of Georgia State (+13) for first. Central Arkansas finished second at 16-over par 880. Ball State (+21), Little Rock (+38), Tulane (+46), Tarleton State (+49) and Western Carolina (+56) completed the team standings.
Three A-State golfers posted even-par rounds of 72 Thursday.
Olivia Coit finished tied for sixth to lead the Red Wolves with a three-round total of 5-over par 221 (76-73-72).
Caroline Hughes (76-74-72) and
Mackenzie Cloutier (75-73-75) tied for eighth at 6-over par 222.
Morgan Beaulieu totaled 12-over par 228 (79-69-80) for 26th and
Anne-Lea Lavoie totaled 14-over par 230 (78-80-72) for 29th. Playing as an individual,
Sofia Bastidas turned in a total of 8-over par 224 (73-74-77) to tie for 13th.
The final regular season tournament for the Red Wolves is scheduled for March 30-31 at the ULM Invitational. The Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship returns to Lakewood Golf Club April 20-23.
