JONESBORO, Ark. (2/16/23) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department spent halftime of its men's basketball game Thursday night at First National Bank Arena recognizing 203 student-athletes who earned a spot on the Red Wolves' fall 2022 Athletics Director's Honor Roll.
Earning at least a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA) to land on the AD Honor Roll, the 203 members represented 57 percent of all A-State student-athletes that collectively achieved an all-department 3.06 GPA. Out of the 203 student-athletes on last semester's list, 50 posted a 4.0 GPA for the second most over the last decade.
The Red Wolves' placed at least 200 student-athletes on its AD Honor Roll for the eighth time over the last nine fall semesters as well, and nine teams produced a 3.0 or higher GPA. Those teams included baseball, women's soccer, volleyball, men's and women's golf, women's tennis, men's and women's cross country and women's track & field.
The Arkansas State Athletics Department will hold its annual stAte Awards at the conclusion of the spring semester to celebrate the academic and athletic accomplishments of all its student-athletes.
