A-State Student-Athletes Earn Degrees, Participate in 2024 Summer Commencement Ceremony

JONESBORO, Ark. (8/10/24) – Arkansas State University held its Summer 2024 Commencement Saturday at First National Bank Arena, and 12 additional student-athletes representing 12 of the Red Wolves' intercollegiate sports have earned their degrees.
 
The most recent group of A-State student-athletes to receive their degrees competed in the sports of baseball, football, women's bowling, men's golf, women's golf, women's soccer, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field and men's and women's cross country.
 
All of the student-athletes who earned their degree this semester have appeared on either the A-State Athletics Director's Honor Roll, Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List, Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll or a combination of the three during their careers with the Red Wolves.
 
A-State's list of August 2024 graduates includes:
 
Baseball:  Brandon Hager (Exercise Science);  Football:  Jacob Bayer (Criminology), Manny Stokes (General Studies);  Women's Bowling:  Saralyne Nassberg (General Studies), Emma Stull (MS, Sport Administration);  Men's Golf:  Hugo Ronnberg (General Studies);  Women's Golf:  Elise Schultz (MBA, Financial Plan and Analysis);  Women's Soccer:  Gertie Langford (Exercise Science), Olivia Luther (MS, Nutrition and Dietetics), Emma Riley (Business Administration);  Men's Track & Field/Cross Country:  Coleman Wilson (MS, Mechanical Engineering);  Women's Track & Field/Cross Country:  Elizabeth Martin (MS, Nursing)
