JONESBORO, Ark. (8/9/24) – Arkansas State men's golf head coach Mike Hagen revealed a strong slate of events, including the annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate and the A-State Spring Invitational at RidgePointe Country Club, for the 2024-25 schedule.
The defending Sun Belt Conference champions get the season underway Sept. 8-10 at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, S.C., at True Blue Golf Club. A-State heads west for six of its nine events, beginning with the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate hosted at the University of New Mexico Championship Course Sept. 20-21.
Next on the schedule is the 29th annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Sept. 30-Oct. 1 at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro. A-State then closes the fall portion of the schedule at the Kapolei Invitational hosted at Kapolei Golf Clube in Kapolei, Hawai'i.
A-State begins the spring slate Feb. 24-26 at Reflection Bay and the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate in Henderson, Nev. The Red Wolves then head to Phoenix for the Grand Canyon Invitational March 11-12 before visiting Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif., for the UC San Diego Invitational March 23-25.
The Cowboy Classic is next on the schedule at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Ariz., March 31-April 1. The Red Wolves regular season finale is the A-State Spring Invitational at RidgePointe Country Club April 14-15.
A-State defends its stroke play and Sun Belt Conference match play championship April 21-24 as the league championship returns to Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss. NCAA Regionals are set for May 12-15 with the NCAA Championship May 23-28 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Champions Course in Carlsbad, Calif.
