VAIL, Colo. (9/23/24) – The Arkansas State women's golf team registered an opening round 17-over par 305 and stands 16th entering the second round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.

A-State is three shots back of Eastern Michigan (+14) for 15th and eight shots back of Mercer (+9) for 10th. Sacramento State leads the field at 7-under par 281 followed by Boise State (-4), Kansas (E), Little Rock (+1) and UC Irvine (+1).

Playing as an individual, Sofia Bastidas finished up at 1-under par 71 to tie for 14th, six strokes back of the top spot on the individual leaderboard held by Caitlin Maurice (-6) of Sacramento State. Ashley Kim turned in a 1-over par 73 to rank 28th and Anne-Lea Lavoie was 3-over par 75 to rank 46th. Charlotte Menager (+6) is 69th while Morgan Beaulieu (+7) and Olivia Coit (+7) are 73rd.
