JONESBORO, Ark. (11/18/25) – Arkansas State men's golf head coach Mike Hagen announced Tuesday that Max Tabone has signed to join the program for the 2026-27 season.
 
"I'm beyond excited to add Max to our 2026 recruiting class," said Hagen. "His competitive mindset and relentless work ethic set him apart from others.  Max has proven himself as a top performer not only in Switzerland but on the international stage, and we can't wait to see the impact he'll make here."
 
Ranked 23rd among juniors and 55th overall in the European Golf Rankings , Tabone recently finished eighth at the Argentine Amateur. He is atop the order of merit for Switzerland and finished second at the Spanish International Boys U18 Championship. He helped Switzerland to a fifth place finish at European Team Championships. Out of 35 counting amateur events, Tabone finished inside the top 10 on 15 occasions.
 
Tabone joins William Wright as signees for the 2026-27 campaign.
