LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. (3/23/26) – Opening play at the Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate, the 42nd-ranked Arkansas State men's golf team stands fourth among 17 teams after two rounds of play at the Wigwam Resort.
 
A-State shot a 1-over par 289 in the opening round and improved to 6-under par 282 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 5-under par 571. Nebraska paces the field at 13-under par 563 followed by Marquette (-12) and Iowa State (-10) in the top three. Maryland (-3), Denver (-1), Oral Roberts (+1), Wisconsin (+2), North Dakota (+3), Utah State (+3) and UTSA (+3) complete the top 10 and ties.
 
Jake Wallis and Cole Kirby lead the Red Wolves at 2-under par 142 and are among those tied for 17th individually. Wallis opened with a 3-over 75 and carded a 5-under par 67 in the second round while Kirby was 1-over 73 in the opening round and 3-under 69 for the second. Milan Reed is tied for 27th at even-par 144 (71-73), Thomas Schmidt is tied for 36th at 2-over 146 (73-73) and Jake Lile is tied for 58th at 6-over 150 (72-78). Playing as an individual, Viggo Hed registered a 1-over 145 (75-70) to tie for 33rd.
