Henry Styles Signs with A-State Men’s Golf

JUNE 8. (6/8/26) – Arkansas State men's golf head coach Mike Hagen announced Monday that Henry Styles has signed to join the program for the 2026-27 season.
 
"Henry is a proven winner with a strong international résumé, and we're excited about what he brings to our program," said Hagen. "He has shown the ability to perform at a high level in big events, and we believe his experience and competitive mindset will make an immediate impact on our team. Just as important, he's someone who fits our culture at A-State."
 
Playing the last two seasons at the University of San Francisco, Styles posted a stroke average of 73.08 with 23 of his 51 rounds at par or better. In his sophomore campaign, he posted a 72.67 scoring average with 13 par or better rounds including a career-best 7-under 65 to open the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational at Silverado Country Club and Resort. He had four top-30 finishes, highlighted by a tie for 12th in The Saint Mary's Invitational.
 
Styles, ranked 53rd overall in the European Golf Rankings, won the 2025 English Men's Amateur Championship at Royal Liverpool and recently finished third playing for The Lagonda Trophy. He also won the Essex Amateur County Championship in 2025 while taking runner-up in The Lagonda Trophy in 2025. In 2024, he was medalist at the Sir Henry Cooper Championships.
 
As a freshman, Styles turned in a 73.54 stroke average with 10 of 24 rounds under par. He posted a season-low 69 twice, including a 3-under par 69 at the Trinity Forest Invitational. He finished inside the top 25 in three events with a season-best of tied for 15th at the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship.
 
Styles joins Max Tabbone and William Wright as signees ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
