JONESBORO, Ark. (6/17/26) – Six Arkansas State student-athletes representing three different sports received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large recognition, the organization announced this week.
Sofia Bastidas,
Olivia Coit and
Anne-Lea Lavoie from the A-State women's golf team,
Kaylee Back and
Amanda Lang from the A-State bowling squad and
Milan Reed from the A-State men's golf team were recognized for their work in the classroom.
Bastidas carries a 3.96 GPA as a Nursing major, Coit sports a 3.87 GPA in Sport Management and Lavoie boasts a 4.0 GPA in Management. Back holds a 3.89 GPA in Accounting while Lang possesses a 4.0 GPA in Sport Management and Reed owns a 3.69 GPA in Sport Management.
The 2026 Academic All-District At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. To be elgible for consideration, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, appear in 90 percent of the institution's game played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For golfers, the student-athlete must be in the lineup for 75 percent of a team's scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship.
