JONESBORO, Ark. (4/16/25) – Arkansas State women's basketball announces the addition of sophomore forward Angela Carroll through the transfer portal.
 
A transfer from Texas State, Carroll joins the Red Wolves off a productive season with the Bobcats. The Waco, Texas native played in all 30 games, starting in 25 of them, and averaged 4.8 points a game and 4.7 rebounds per game. She recorded a career-best 14 points against ULM (Dec. 20), and pulled in 10 rebounds against PVAMU (Nov. 30), shooting 56 percent from the field (61-of-109).
 
Before joining Texas State, Carroll earned All-State honors at Waco La Vega High School in 2025, while earning All-Region team accolades in 2024 and 2025. A 2025 McDonald's All-American Nominee in 2025, she was also tabbed as the Feb. 2025 Dave Campbell's Athlete of the Month. She helped to lead the Pirates to two state titles in 2023 and 2024, and a state runner-up in 2025. Carroll also competed in track and volleyball at La Vega.
