NORMAN, Okla. (9/20/26) – The Arkansas State women's golf team shaved seven strokes off its first round total in Sunday's second round of the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club.

A-State totaled 9-over par 289, seven strokes better than its first round 296. The Red Wolves have totaled 25-over 585 to stand 15th among 16 teams in the field that includes 10 power conference squads. Iowa State paces the field at 19-under par 561 with TCU (-13), Oklahoma (-13), Florida State (-10), Oklahoma State (-5), Virginia Tech (-5), Kansas State (-3), UCF (-1), Tulane (E) and Tulsa (+1) completing the top 10. Georgia (+8), Baylor (+9), Houston (+11) and Oral Roberts (+20) comprise 11th through 14 in the team standings.

Kayla Van de Ven paced the Red Wolves Sunday with an even-par 70. She carded three birdies to offset a trio of bogeys and stands tied for 55th overall at 4-over par 144 (74-70). Mackenzie Cloutier was 4-over par 74 in the second round and its tied for 63rd overall at 5-over par 145 (71-74). Ceci Lococo (77-72) and Yinyoe Yang (74-75) are tied for 80th while Sofia Bastidas (77-73) is tied for 84th. Caroline Hughes (86-83) is 93rd individually.

The third and final round begins at 8:30 a.m. Monday with live scoring on SCOREBOARD.
