JONESBORO, Ark. (9/4/26) – Arkansas State cross country is set to begin the 2026 campaign at the City Auto Memphis Twilight XC Classic on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
The women's 5K is scheduled to begin at 9:20 p.m., while the men's four-mile run will follow at 10 p.m.

Meet Notes
- A-State returns four of the five all-conference selections from last season. 2025 Second Team All-Sun Belt selection Erika Krueger leads the Red Wolves on the women's side while First Team All-Sun Belt pick and 2025 SBC Men's Runner of the Year Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo leads the men's team. Noah Herrera and Joe Edwards also return after securing Second Team All-Sun Belt honors in their first years.
- Head coach Jesse Duvall enters his eighth season at the helm of the Red Wolves' cross country program. The six-time Sun Belt Cross Country Coach of the Year has brought six of the program's seven cross country conference titles since 1991 back to Jonesboro.
- Last season, A-State finished at fourth place in the women's 5K and the men's four-mile run. The women's team secured 117 points while the men posted 106 points.
