PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (9/7/26) – The Arkansas State women's golf team improved by one stroke and climbed two positions to 16th following the second round of the Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
A-State turned in a 13-over par 297, one stroke better than its opening round 298, and has totaled 27-over par 595 to stand 16th in the 23-team field. The Red Wolves trail Central Arkansas by two shots for 15th while Lipscomb and Stetson are tied for 11th at 17-over par 585. UNCW (-3), High Point (+1), Campbell (+2), Memphis (+4) and Austin Peay (+9) comprise the top five teams.
Caroline Hughes and
Yinyoe Yang paced A-State Monday with rounds of 2-over par 73. Hughes has a 36-hole total of 5-over par 147 to tie for 37th while Yang is tied for 54th at 7-over par 149.

Sofia Bastidas (76-74) are tied for 63

Kayla Van de Ven (73-80) is tied for 84th and
Ceci Lococo (75-82) is tied for 102
