2008:  Medical redshirt.


High School: Four-year varsity standout and two-year team captain at Crosby (Texas) High School, earning first -team All-District honors all four years...offensive player of the year 2006 and 2007 at Crosby...broke school record for kills per match and kills per season...District MVP 2007...earned Houston Chronicle Player of the Week honors in 2007...Baytown Sun Player of the Year 2007...member of National English and Science Honor Society and National Honor Society...also played softball, soccer and ran track.


Personal: Parents are Greg Hoag and Lasses Porterfield...major is undecided...hobbies are photography, sports and nutrition.
